Non Functional Engineering Platform Lead - Quality Assurance - London
rare opportunity has come up to Platform Lead the ADM Quality Assurance (QA) Non Functional Engineering platform. You will be defining and leading the strategy for 2013 and beyond to ensure effective and efficient non functional testing across the entire Lloyds Banking Group estate. Non functional engineering knowledge is a must for this role as is vast experience of delivering non functional testing across multiple types of software and hardware. Sound knowledge of the financial services industry and key technologies used within this domain is key.
Your remit will include:
Accountablity for the overall successful function of the Non Functional Engineering Platform within ADM QA, and the management of all technical services being delivered from the Platform.
Delivering the customer agenda and ensuring all delivery and service related deliverables are maximized in terms of quality, time, and budget and implemented with minimal business interruption
Possessing excellent relationship, influencing skills and experience of managing multiple and diverse stakeholder groups.
Taking responsibility for strategic initiatives typically necessitating report into HoF, central or executive teams.
Ensuring delivery solutions are always fit for purpose and are maintainable for the future and are delivered within accordance to established processes, standards, practices and procedures.
Owning and managing the relationship with CIO across Group IT and key colleagues within the group. Managing key stakeholder expectation through high quality project delivery and service.
Owning the key relationship with Service Delivery to ensure all service needs are met in line with targets through provision of highly effective application maintenance and support activities. This in turn will ensure a high quality of service to customers and will lead Platform service improvement activities.
Ensuring risk management compliance within Platform ensuring that all functional, technical and business related issues are managed through effective mitigation planning and techniques.
Accountability for strategic partner and supplier relationships within the Platform to ensure that Lloyds Banking Group benefits strategically and commercially through world class supplier management and governance.
Leading, motivating and developing Platform colleagues to ensure that individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets both current and future needs of the Bank.
Overall accountability for the consistent implementation of key HR processes across the Platform, including clear Platform governance, recruitment, career development, succession planning, key skills and capabilities, resourcing and colleague performance.
Owning the strategic technical direction for the Platform through identification of future trends / requirements within scope of expertise and contribution to the development of new concepts which drive the overall strategic plan
The ideal candidate will be a Non Functional Engineering Expert with a proven track record of runnning and developing high performaning teams. You willl also be able to evidence influencing skills at a senior level and will be comfortable having having input at regular executive and business forums
