New Product Development Coordinator


Reed Specialist Recruitment is in partnership with an international FMCG Company.

Reed is supporting in attracting and recruiting marketing professional to their local brand management team.

The Person will support in-market strategic direction for the specified brands and responsible for the development and coordination tasks of the brand strategies execution.


New Product Development Coordinator




  • Coordinating all NPD (New Product Development) activities in Hungary following new PLM process and guidelines.
  • Responsible for timely and quality implementation of NPD projects. Continuously check feasibility of deadlines and concepts. Adjust project schedules and deadlines when necessary.
  • Supporting Portfolio Manager with regards to production planning, brand logistics function, and communication across various departments.
  • Maintain regular contact with Marketing & Sales department, Global Supply Chain, R&D and logistical functions as well to manage product introductions, price changes and packaging modifications
  • Key responsible person for managing PLM Project Management tool
  • Make sure that JTI initiatives and guidelines are being kept and under control.
  • Keep updated cycle plan of NPD activities.
  • Establish and maintain all NPD and R&D project database to be consistently aware of all projects status.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Brand teams, R&D, GSC and all other involved departments to communicate the clear view and status on NPD and R&D project.
  • Support the development of respective brands in line with company guidelines, best practices, market dynamics in order to maximize performance.
  • Support monitoring and analyzing of portfolio performance.
  • Make recommendations for how to improve processes to ensure an even higher speed to market and save costs.
  • Analyze competitor product and pack initiatives and propose innovations




  • University degree in business administration or economics
  • 2-3 years of working experience in FMCG strategic marketing
  • Previous experience in project and brand management.
  • Experience in new product launch
    • Fluent negotiating skills in English, both written and spoken
    • Good computer skills
    • Preciseness, good analytical skills.
      • Good interpersonal and communication skills,
        • Agility, proactively
