Marketing Manager - Germany - Nordrhein-Westfalen

The Marketing Manager for Germany will drive sustained growth in sales and profit through a combination of integrated communications strategies that increase market share, market shopper penetration, brand awareness and footfall.

Key areas of responsibility are:
· Delivering impactful country marketing plans that drive brand awareness, brand education and footfall through insightful and market-relevant analysis and development of annual marketing communications plans.
· Work within European framework and partner with multiple key stakeholders within the pan-European structure
· Work with external agency partners and internal key stakeholders to measure strategic marketing across multiple disciplines.
· Liaise with multiple marketing disciplines, namely media, advertising, digital, direct, events, content and creative to build robust and measurable country and/or brand marketing plans.
· Drive and implement marketing campaigns including brand and tactical campaigns.
· Manage all day-to-day marketing metrics such as performance of new store openings.
· Manage all day-to-day input into Marketing and Activity Calendars.
· Measure all marketing activities and be responsible for delivering ROI.
· Manage consumer and brand insights.
· Work with the Manager of Marketing, to manage the country budget, maximising the efficiency of the marketing funds by leveraging pan-European assets.
· Build local agency partner relationships - and participate in pan-European agency meetings.
· Manage and implement local marketing plans that support the local new store openings, refurbishments and relocations programme including writing creative briefs for this specific marketing area.
· Oversee and approve local adaptation - messaging relevancy and impact.
· Build relationships with country regional as well as European departments to support business requirements.

Key skills, knowledge and experience
· Fluent in German and English - proven excellent writing and presenting skills.
· You must be a commercial marketer and strategic thinker - and will be required to build your knowledge, experience and expertise.
· Strong understanding and experience within marketing media.
· International experience, preferable gained in a multi-channel environment.
· Experience of working within a pan-European matrix business.
· Ability to manage projects and analyse results.
· Experienced in local store openings.
· Successful track record in communications and local implementation.
· Budget, project and stakeholder management experience.
· Worked in-house (client) or agency-side.
· A love of retail.
