The Board of City Property (Glasgow) LLP is looking for an individual who has a solid commercial property investment background gained at a senior level. More specifically, you'll establish the strategy and plans for driving economies, efficiencies and effectiveness within the LLPs's commercial property investment portfolio, the management, development and disposal of the Council's non operational surplus land and property assets and the development of the Markets at Blochairn and Open Markets within the city.
You'll also be expected to build influential relationships not only within the Council, its ALEOs and other public sector organisations but also with the private sector.
An inspiring leader and clear communicator, you must be focused on delivery and be capable of managing change whilst dealing with complex, inter-organisational issues. In addition, you must have a commercial eye for detail and commitment to achieving value for money in programmes of change measured in millions of pounds.
Reporting to the Board and the Council's Chief Executive you will have the support to refine and implement change enabling the Company to respond to the challenges ahead.
Ideally, you'll have a relevant qualification(s) to complement your extensive knowledge and experience of the property sector. A first-class record of project delivery and an understanding of the public/private sector interface are essential.
