Manager Liquidity Management & Payment Services - Austria

As the Liquidity Manager you ensure the maintenance of corporate liquidity and financial stability. You will manage the operations for identification and mitigation of financial risks, monitor financial markets and trends, and ensure accurate internal and statutory reporting. You bear responsibility for strategies, operational guidelines and policies relating to Liquidity Management & Payment Services activities, as well as policies for capital structure, working capital, treasury operations, foreign exchange, interest rate risk and minimum reserve management.


Responsibilities
• Execute the investment of daily short-term funds and debts. Manage FX exposure in accordance with applicable policies and perform liquidity forecasting, monitoring, analysis and reporting according to regulatory requirements in the respective jurisdictions
• Define and develop the bank account strategy for WUIB in alignment with the global WU head office in the US. Establish and maintain commercial banking relationships and liaise with IT, Operations and other functional areas as well as outside providers to design, develop and optimize operational processes and systems from an efficiency perspective
• Ensure that the minimum reserve requirement is fulfilled in all relevant jurisdictions
• Ensure compliance with and actively monitor all Basel III requirements in regards to the Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Net Stable
• Funding Ratio and liquidity monitoring
• Prepare regular ALCO meetings and ensure continuous improvement to fulfil internal and regulatory requirements
• Drive strategic projects of WUIB concerning Liquidity Management & Payment Services Support, capital structure and capital requirements

Requirements
• 5 - 8 years progressive Liquidity Management, Payment Services and Correspondent Banking experience acting on international terrain
• A degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
• Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent computing skills with all common office programs as well as Front-Office and Back-Office Systems, Reuters, Bloomberg
• Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
• Fluency in English and preferably German
• Tact and diplomacy as well as ability to work efficiently in a rapidly changing, multicultural environment with multiple priorities
