Major Account Manager - Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes, MK1 1

Major Account Manager (Digital) required on a permanent basis. The Major Account Manager (non-retail) is responsible for driving new Digital sales, creating new customer accounts, managing those accounts and maximizing sales opportunities within them.

PLEASE NOTE : This role is a field based Sales role so you will work from home, the base office is in Milton Keynes however you will not be required to travel there very often.

The Major Account Manager is responsible for maintaining the revenue and gross profit of each account ensuring they remain profitable in line with annual targets, exhausting all additional revenue streams opportunities and will be expected to build a strong relationship with their customers.


Identify and target non-retail customers, drive new sales and open new accounts.
Monitor the day to day commercial performance of each account within a portfolio.
To assist with the preparation of contractual agreements and ensure that these are
Fully adhered to.
Play an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients.
To achieve income targets and a gross profit results in line with quarterly targets.
Managing a range of customer projects at any one time.
Manage the Account Manager (non-retail) and support them in their dealings with independents both in sales and advice with new products.
Regularly liaising with customers to identify new business opportunities and forecast customer demand.
Provide high quality and timely delivery of duties.
Operate within the legal and regulatory framework.
Effectively solve problems and manage risk to ensure achievement of delivery.

Experience required

Comprehensive knowledge of the digital betting industry with solid industry networks.
Experience of successful liaisons with both customers and suppliers.
Strong account management and relationship building skills.
Evidence of achievement within a commercial environment.
Results orientated.
Financial awareness.
Proven track record in project management and client growth.
Ability to work with a team of people and alone.
Excellent communication skills.
Good negotiation skills.
Able to plan and prioritise as required.
Sound understanding of the commercial processes
IT Literate
Highly self-motivated
Flexible and able to travel to customers in the UK and Ireland and, if required, overseas
