Maintain product currency across CICS, CICS Transaction Gateway, Z/OS MQ within Development/Test and Production Environments
Daily support functions include fielding calls from multiple development and test teams as they work through releases
updating and maintaining CICS transaction and overall system configurations
Plan, design, develop, and launch efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core business & organizational functions
Installation and maintenance of business systems, applications, software subsystems, and related system products/tools
Modification of hardware and software component specifications, development of requirements based upon interaction with clients and teammates, and the seamless integration of new software programs/applications/solutions into the computing environment throughout the business system lifecycle
Development, analysis, creation, testing, and/or modification of software programs/applications/solutions based on client/user requirements
Intermediate English language skills, German is advantage
CICS Production support experience
Knowledge on CICSPLEX, CICS Transaction Gateway
Experience in technology lifecycle management including planning, design, build, testing and operate methodology
Advanced knowledge of computing platforms such as server, network and storage subsystems
Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies
Advanced experience with systems planning, security principles, software management best practices, current software protocols, and Internet standards, including advanced network troubleshooting protocols
ability to work under pressure and commitment
prepared to work actively in distributed teams, incl. working on 7x24 hour call-out
