Leadership and Talent Development Analyst - Swindon, City, SN3 1TA


We need:

•A Leadership & Talent Development Analyst at our Swindon Head Office.
•£23,836 - £30,457 a year on a full time permanent basis

Department: The Leadership and Talent Team sit within Human Resources and are based at our Swindon Head office. We are a team of around 20 subject matter experts who work across the society.

Role: This role reports into the Senior Talent and People Performance Manager and will work alongside three other members of the team; the Talent Consultant, Assessment Manager and Performance Manager.

Responsibilities: This role requires strong business analyst skills and the successful candidate would be responsible for delivering insights and analytics, as well as defining new ways of producing and delivering Management Information around talent demographics.

Person: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide input into the ongoing development of the talent, assessment and performance analytics. We are looking for someone who will be a critical part of the team, c an take ownership of new projects and drive them through to completion with the support of the wider team.

•Business analyst experience
•Project Management experience
•Experience with project management and software development methodologies i.e. Prince
•Experience in HR and talent management
•Personal initiative
•Problem solving skills
•Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to create a professional impact with clients
•Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

What you'll be doing

You will be:

•Documenting requirements clearly and effectively and creating good audit trails and version control
•Analyse requirements and define enhancements to existing business processes
•Act as project manager on business projects and ensures such projects deliver timely and accurate information
•Design and develop new/enhanced applications to meet business requirements
•Estimate required time and resources to complete assigned tasks
•Research new ways to automate or enhance existing systems
•Create and delivering timely reports and presentation materials that provide data and insight on assessment, talent and performance
•Support preparations for the committees and talent forums, including the input to presentations and individual data pack creation for executive committee
•Interpret and provide insights around highly sensitive data across the society
•Maintain and develop multiple excel based talent databases ensuring these are up to date and accurate
