The Enterprise Architect is responsible for working with clients to design and implement solutions related portfolio offerings.
These solutions cover a broad range of partner products that we offer its clients and requires an architect with a broad range of knowledge, a high level of experience, and the ability to apply that knowledge and experience to quickly adapt to changing customer needs and an evolving set of solutions.
The Enterprise Architect is known as a Strategist and is a recognized authority internally and externally on leading-edge technologies, theories, and techniques.
Provides innovative solutions to complex and critically sensitive issues affecting multiple disciplines and work groups.
Determines and pursues courses of action essential in accomplishing objectives.
Integrates advanced technology, theories or techniques that have a significant continued impact across disciplines and business units.
Collaborate with and advise members of sales teams on solution features, architectural issues, implementation considerations, cost elements and effort estimates
Ensures competitive position is fed back to offering management, supports definition of win themes
Understand client business goals and outcomes and aligns the company solutions to clients end to end architectural framework
Analyze and evaluate client requirements against portfolio offerings and architecting those requirements into a competitive solution
Provides technical input into bid proposals, projects and technical documents within the sales process, and identifies additional sales opportunities with existing customers
Installs and demonstrates the organizations products at customer sites
Collaborates with sales teams to develop and recommend products and services to meet customers requirements
Maintains up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the organization s and competitors products and/or services
Analyze detailed client business process, software, application, ITO and/or infrastructure requirements (RFPs, RFIs)
Guide the proposed technical solutions through the Deal Review Board for approval
Lead or support architectural and/or solution reviews, strategic planning activities and business case development for client engagements
Support the development of cost elements and resource estimates as well as solution models
Refine and optimize architectural models
Adhere to appropriate SDF processes, architectural artifact requirements and the End-to-End Service Model
Present solutions to internal and client stakeholders
Discovers and identifies and articulates previously unrecognized business value opportunities provided to client through scope, approach, metrics, billing and other changes
Ensures innovation is repeatable and contributes this collateral to solutioning community through appropriate forums
Identifies any repeating risks and initiates programs to address, engaging leadership across all necessary disciplines
Defines repeatable solutions, cross-business unit solutions, taking strategic view, optimizing the enterprise solution and considering in the solutions the required industry specific needs
Ensures detailed solution and architectural framework are aligned throughout pursuit lifecycle
Pursuit strategy and client direction influencer at CxO level and above
Is a recognized authority for the business unit and is a recognized expert in multiple disciplines
Influences clients, senior pursuit leaders, sales and sales support organizations, pursuit and enterprise alliance partners
Creates and raises standards for peers, subject matter experts, other contributors
University degree and 15+ years directly related experience
15+ years of experience working in a presales or solution selling organization with global experience
Having fuent German AND English knowledge is mandatory
Recognized expert in Infrastructure, Software & Application, Business Process
Experience in proposal processes including pricing, resource assignment, complex planning, proposal solution development / design review, design tradeoff decisions, winning theme development, contract negotiation and presentation to the client
Experience in project management including managing and motivating technical personnel
Possesses strong product, technology, and industry knowledge
Experience with design and developing conceptual, logical, and technical architecture models
Knowledgeable on industry standards such as TOGAF, ITIL, ISO Standards, Zachman, etc.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility to travel across the DACH region
