Java developer

Our Client  is a multinational BPO provider in expansion phase. 
We are looking for a new team member in the following position:

Tasks:

- Developing technology for the listed futures and options expiry processing

- Working in deadline- driven global team environment

- Communicate with users and knowledge

- Work on technically challenging projects and learn about the business.

- Provide to the client  technical environment, development and support

- Develop and support applications according to the corresponding client processes

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years Java development experience

- Knowledge in design, testing, threading, and SDLC best practices

- Higher level education in engineering or information technology areas

- Strong fundamental technology skills (OO design, threading, SDLC)

- Strong Server-side Java development experience

- Spring, JUnit, Design Patterns

- Experience with XML, XSD

- SQL (DB2 UDB experience preferred, but not required)

- Basic understanding of Unix shell scripting and Perl language

- Experience or interest in learning Flex, RIA development  is an advantage

- Detail oriented and disciplined but with the ability to work on short deadlines on occasion
