In our Budapest Business Service Centre, our Financial Services Team has a wide variety of tasks from processing, reporting and booking invoices or other cost information flows from partners, reconciliation, participation in monthly, quarterly and yearly closing etc. More specifically the Network Accounting Team is responsible for financial and accounting activities related to partners through whom car rental is possible (rental stations, agencies etc.).

As Network Accounting Specialist your role will be:

  • Processing, reporting and booking invoices or other cost information from partners
  • Analysing and controlling of partner costs
  • Producing invoices / bills and credit notes to issue to partners
  • Calculating licensee and agency fees and ensuring they are billed, processing their receipt
  • Making bank payments and controlling instalments
  • Doing month end related reconciliations and associated month-, quarter- or year-end tasks
  • Processing, analysis and controlling of partner statements
  • Preparing partner performance targets, scorecards and monthly cash flow reports
  • Regular communication with the partners, handling queries and claims
  • Continuously striving for process improvement, driving knowledge and idea sharing with the team, participating in training new joiners

To join us as, we are looking forward to your application if you have:

  • College or university degree preferably in economics, finance/accounting
  • At least 1 year of experience gained in a similar financial role
  • Advanced knowledge of Italian and additionally at least intermediate level of English (verbal, written)
  • Analytical mind-set, logical thinking
  • Strong communication skills
  • Confident user skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work precisely under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Team work
