IT Sales Manager (Telecommunication)
Our partner is one of the world’s leading provider of communications technology and services. Their offerings include services, consulting, software and infrastructure within Information and Communications Technology. They are a global company, operating across borders in over 150 countries.

They are looking to hire an IT Sales Manager to secure short and long-term profitable and repeatable business in the IT Professional Services domains, through proactive business development. The right candidate will manage resources based on a fundamental understanding of the customers’ business, operations and key objectives. He/She is going to understand and articulate customer requirements and act with strong authority with accountability to develop and sustain the necessary business relations and actively contribute to make our customers successful.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

- Maximize customer relationship by building trust and loyalty
- Generate profitable sales and meeting quota
- Develop long term business including. game-changing deals
- Incorporate high quality and delivery profitability throughout sales
- Lead and develop high performing and multi-disciplined teams
- Generally, increase customer insight and coach wider organization on realizing associated opportunities

Requirements:

- Proven track records in IT sales, pre-sales and /or large-scale delivery
- Experience of successfully building and selling fixed price IT deals
- Strong in consultative selling and meeting sales quota
- Fluent across engagement models, with proven experience with CxO level
- Customer presence: ability to command the attention and respect of senior customer and industry executives, building trust.
- Ability to envision the future, engage and develop trusted relationships (mind-share with customer)
- Solid understanding of IT market trends and competitive landscape
- Excellent interpersonal, social and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking
- Teamwork & Collaboration
- Financial Understanding
- Problem solving
- Personal traits: Result oriented, open minded, responsive, perseverant, creative, passion to win

Other relevant competences/skills:

- Existing relevant network with target customers
- Previous experience working with software / IT professional services vendors
- Previous experience working with operators
