Our Information Technology Assurance practice combines strategy, governance, audit, technical and risk management expertise and fall broadly within the following areas:

• Architecture, Network and Application Security;
• Threat and Vulnerability Management;

As expenditure on technology increases, we help organisations understand the risks associated with this investment and work with them to identify the right controls to mitigate these and deliver a successful outcome. You will predominately focus on consulting engagements for clients in the areas of IT Governance, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, Infrastructure and numerous other IT risk areas.
About the role
Technology Assurance consists of IT Risk, Cyber and Data. These opportunities sit within the IT Risk service line. You should have an understanding of recent developments in information security, IT risk and IT security issues. You will be required to use this knowledge on a daily basis as part of your core activities in the delivery of professional services to clients and to help develop and evolve the firm's services.
RequirementsEssential skills:
• A relevant professional qualification (i.e. CA, IISP, CISA, CISSP, CIA or CISM);
• Technology and Risk frameworks (ITIL, CobIT, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS etc);
• Exceptional client relationship skills;
• Subject matter specialism in relevant areas of technology;
• A proven track record of experience in the areas described above from either a big 4 practice, consulting or from within the Financial Services sector;
• Exceptional consulting and/or assurance skills;
• Experience managing a team and developing team members;
• The ability to lead and work successfully in and across teams;
• The ability to manage across multiple complex projects.
Desirable skills:
• A strong personal network and the ability to play a role in the development of new business;
• Strong business awareness, sound reporting skills and the ability to work under your own initiative; and
• The ability to apply independent judgement during engagements and to support conclusions reached to senior level personnel both internally and externally;
