IT Customer Support Coordinator/Incident Manager

Description of position:
You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth solution of IT related problems, including the coordination of incidents, handling of outages and keeping the daily contact with our customer's management and application owner teams.

•Opening, handling and tracking of incidents

•Taking an active part in the coordination of outages including the tracking of issues, keeping the contact with the customers and writing reports

•Creating user accounts for airline specific applications

•Closing changes and keeping the customers updated about the modification

•Performing application health checks based on instructions/documentation

•Being a communicational bridge between the customers, service managers and the technical teams

•Handling high mail traffic and provide professional support via phone as well on a daily basis in English and German

•Monitoring of Aviation IT applications (Nagios/Icinga)

•Solving service requests for the customers

Requirements, skills:
•At least 1 year work experience in IT Help Desk/Customer Service/L1 Agent position

•Strong English and German language knowledge

•User level knowledge of at least one ticketing tool

•Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux/Microsoft operating systems

•Basic knowledge in networking (TCP/IP)

•General knowledge of IT operation processes and technologies

•Ability to work in 24/7 shifts (12 hours)

•Certificate of good conduct

•High School Diploma/GED

The ideal candidate

•Is familiar with monitoring tools Nagios and/or Icinga

•Has basic SAP knowledge

•Shows a pro-active and solution-focused attitude

•Has excellent communication skills

•Has a customer and service oriented mindset

•Being familiar with ITIL V3 Foundation is an advantage

Known languages:
Strong English and German language knowledge
