IT Business Analyst

Main tasks

  • The main purpose of the role is to translate business requirements into Business Solutions improvement opportunities, initiate development projects based on business needs, create and maintain the long term view and architecture of company Business Solutions aligned with Global Business Solutions Architecture and Roadmaps. Facilitate the company’s Business Process improvements by leveraging on Global Information Services capabilities.
  • Support business with defining their functional requirements, challenge them against best business practices and application capabilities
  • Support business with business case preparation for new requirements
  • Seek for best business process and application solution practices within bigger Heineken organization (outside local organisation)
  • Pro-actively suggest business systems improvements based on latest developments in the field
  • Delivers input to IT Manager for definition yearly IT Strategic Action Plan
  • Lead IT projects: prepare project plans, project budgets project organization, seek approval from the steering committee
  • Manage project team and delivery of defined project, manage external suppliers
  • Provides day-to-day Level 1 support to end users on specific IT application solutions (SAP, modules Finance and Sales)
  • Work with offshore L2 SAP support partner on delivery of business requirements into IT solutions
  • Management and monitoring of supplier contracts with objective to guarantee the required service level and cost-negotiate with supplier conditions of SLA and contracts
  • Manage, motivate an develop the employees within the Business Solutions team, in line with the year plan and HR guidelines and standards


  • Understanding of business processes
  • Stakeholder and supplier management practice
  • SAP skills in modules SD and FI
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation skills: ability to speak non IT business language to all levels (peer, superior, reports)
  • Project Management (inside and outside the company), previous experience with formal Project Management (e.g. PRINCE 2, SCRUM) methodologies is advantage
  • 3-6 years of relevant Business Solutions experience including team management (min 2 years)
  • University degree/higher education
  • MS Office tools, Project Planning and project Management Tools
