We are looking for an IT Application Support BI Analyst to join our multinational client.
As a member of the SAP Business Intelligence team under the Global Application Services Organisation, the IT Support Analyst will report to the EMEA Application Services Manager.
SAP Business Intelligence support: You will resolve SAP BI Incidents and fulfil SAP BI service requests raised by users across the regions. You will analyse, design and conceptualize data models and you will take part in implementing, developing and maintaining technical solutions to meet business requirement in BI system.
Ticket resolution: you will provide timely ticket resolution of Incidents and Service Requests according to SLA. You will ensure proper communication to user on ticket resolution and root cause, and you will oversee the global ticketing tool is promptly and correctly updated with activities, resolution and user feedback for effective and efficient tracking.
Involvement in projects: you will work closely with the various IT teams to help business owners and global power users realize full potential of the BI applications. You will provide guidance and solution expertise
College / University Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
At least 2-3 years of IT Experience including developing solutions in BI: data models, chains, roles & authorizations, reports
Must have at least 1-2 years of Implementation or Application Support experience
Fluency in English
Extensive knowledge in SAP
Strong experience in following technologies: J2EE-WebShpere, Oracle, Web Services
Hands on in SQL programming and troubleshooting
Skilled in Microsoft office
Experience in one of the following technologies/tools is an asset: Webmethods, DataStage, Opentext
Customer oriented personality with good communication skills
ITIL certification is an added advantage
