International Sales Account Manager ( automotive Europe )


Our automotive customer is looking for candidates for the bellow position:

Pozíció leírása:

Maintain and grow relationships with customer at different levels, departments, and locations within assigned account(s) to support current and future business.
Understand customer products and organizational structure to effectively build relationships with teams and engage customer. Develop stronger relationships with customers at the senior level.
Design and implement an effective growth strategy across customers, understand the technical product, and drive revenue growth.
Leverage core products and identify and develop new product and technical programs in order to catalyze profitable growth.
Maintain current knowledge of competitor’s activity and significant changes.
Negotiate with customers on pricing and other important matters (quality, delivery, and timing).
Develop sales strategy and objectives for assigned accounts.
Contribute to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP).
Drive cost out initiatives.
Support recovery of customer paid tooling in support of program launch.
Review and monitor customer activities monthly, including customer performance metrics, forecast, and account receivable activity.
Interface both verbally and in written format with external and internal customers.
Participate in customer meetings (purchasing, engineering, platform teams, etc.).
Make product presentations to customer purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing departments/representatives.
Respond to customer requests for pricing, lead-time, and tooling on a timely basis.
Partner with and lead internal Dana teams (Purchasing, Engineering, and Marketing) to achieve customers’ objectives.
Work with the Market Segment Leads to develop new product opportunities.
Together with the Market Segment Leads: Establish and implement product and technical strategies to meet company goals.
Participate in the creation and execution of key business plans for customers
Develop & maintain collaborative business relationships with customers and establish proactive account management processes.
Generate new business opportunities by influencing top customers.
Collaborate with Product Management team to develop customer centric growth strategies and offerings.
Manage, develops distributors and agents as required in the region.
Develop strategic programs with accounts and communicate details to Senior Management


Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business is required. Technical degree, Masters or MBA a plus
Minimum 5, preferred 7 to 10 years of experience in program management or sales within Off Highway driveline systems market
Strong understanding of complicated technical products and market knowledge
Experience in building product portfolio strategies to create significant profitable growth through customer relationships
Language: Fluent English and one or more other European languages

Understanding of the importance of seeking improvements in Cost, Quality, and Delivery performance in customer's supplier selection and contracting
Ability to travel extensively with ability to work non-traditional business hours
