The Indirect Tax Services group is the largest of its kind with over 250 partners and staff in the UK and more than 1000 staff working on indirect taxes in over 100 countries around the world. The advantage of this scale is that we have the depth and breadth of specialisms in all areas of indirect taxation that are unmatched by our competitors.
We are currently recruiting into our middle market team that covers a broad sector of the market including the FTSE 101 to 350, other listed businesses, privately owned businesses, real estate, high net worth individuals and the not for profit sector. You would be joining a successful and growing team.

• A motivated, proactive individual that has the ability to build and maintain their own client relationships and to win new business with minimal oversight from Partners and Directors.
• To be able to assist in the development of VAT technical offerings and to easily disseminate complex messages in a manner that is easy to understand.
• The ability to manage a client team and to support the development of junior staff.
• Someone who will respond well to being encouraged to shape and actively manage their career development through involvement in a broad variety of work.
• Strong interpersonal and team working skills. Excellent project management skills.
• A commercial, client service driven approach to your work.
We are essentially a consulting business and little of our work is routine. Projects range from one-off initiatives providing bespoke solutions to specific problems, working collaboratively with other specialisms within PwC to deliver a joined up solution to the client, through to advising UK clients on their international VAT obligations. One thing is guaranteed: the indirect tax practice, and the mid-tier in particular, offers a wide variety of opportunities.
