HR Generalist - Recruiter

Reed Specialist Recruitment's international client who is operating in the construction industry is now looking for a HR Generalist will be to provide full scope of HR support both for the Hungarian HQ and for the international sites in particular at field of international recruitment and selection near Sopron.



Our client is a European market leader within its designated construction segment. They have sales in over 30 countries, 100 employees (and 11 nationalities) acrossEuropeselling their products, and turnover of around € 20 million per year.



HR Generalist - Recruiter



Primary tasks:


  • Participate at  the coordination of all HR processes (payroll, entry and leaving processes, induction and other trainings), in particular end-to-end recruitment and selection process including:
    • Full understanding of the position requirements by working closely together with the hiring managers during the process
    • Determining the most efficient recruitment channels
    • Writing up job ads, conducting searches, keeping contact with partner agencies
    • Pre-screening, interviewing candidates and advising to line managers on the results
    • Ensuring continuous communication with the manager and the applicants
    • Providing accurate documentation and administration for the process
    • Developing and maintaining strategies and practices that helps finding candidates for difficult-to-fill positions even in international scale (professional networking, social media platforms, sites, real / virtual fairs)
  • Maintain databases, reporting, handling daily administrative issues
  • Development of existing HR processes, methods, introducing new ones, standardizing (performance appraisal, training and development, etc.)
  • Fulfilment regional HR tasks, support of foreign colleagues at remote sites (10 countries)
  • Keep contact both with internal and external stakeholders
  • Create ad-hoc reports, analysis
  • Assistance in organization of travelling, customer visits









  • Preferably 3-4 years proven experience (corporate or agency) especially in recruitment, training and development, performance management in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree at equivalent field
  • Working knowledge of HR functions (including employment policies and practices, staffing, reporting, compensation & benefits, legislation, employee relations)
  • Native level of Hungarian
  • Proficiency in English is a must
  • Strong user level of MS Office
  • Strong administrative, time management, multi-tasking, prioritizing and organizational skills
  • Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently with a wide scale of tasks (either administrative or strategic ones)
  • Proactive, ’can do’ attitude
  • Knowledge of professional social media channels and other innovative searching techniques is an advantage
  • Experience in international recruitment and communication and working with remote locations is an advantage
