Unisys Global Services Hungary (UGSH) launched in Budapest in January 2007 providing business process outsourcing and technical help desk services to its prestigious clients across Europe. In Hungary, we are focused primarily on End-User Services, which is a key offering for Unisys. Today, we have two locations in Hungary, which account for our total population of over 700 employees with roles ranging from IT Service Desk Agents to Pre-Sales Support and Management.
Role Purpose

We are seeking Human Resources Director to oversee the Human Resources (HR) and Recruitment functions for the Hungarian subsidiary (UGSH). The company's two locations in Hungary are both in scope for this role.

The successful candidate will be expected to drive the global HR priorities with local management while providing strategic support that is both relevant and productive for the local business operations. This will include ongoing counsel with the local management team, as well as engagement with regional and global leaders in the business and for HR. (S)he will be accountable for tracking all HR related tasks, metrics, communications and engagement with global teams supporting niche areas like compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Regular tasks will include, but not be limited to the following:
- People management of HR & Recruitment teams
- Monthly reports on HR and Recruitment metrics for operational reviews
- Development of an annual compensation strategy
- Development and execution of local HR communication strategy
- Management Development Program review and execution
- Annual budget development and monthly tracking of HR & Recruitment spend to remain within the annual operating plan
- Counsel on all labour issues
- Engagement with local Workers Counsel
- Ongoing review of performance metrics
Required experience
- University degree or equivalent. Professional certifications preferred.
- 8 years of experience showing progressive increases in responsibility
- History of success as a leader and delivering for the businesses (s)he supported
- Strong business acumen
- Effective communicator
- Proficient in English - both written and spoken
- Strong project management capabilities
- Promoter of client service perspective
- Leadership Characteristics
- Exceptional reputation, integrity and credibility
- A trustworthy, aligned adviser to the Country Mgr, but also bold in bringing forth & discussing relevant issues critically.
- Possesses the right organizational savvy and emotional intelligence to work effectively
- with different leaders of a global organization
- Low ego leader - adapts self to the team and puts organizational priorities
