HR Administrator - Oxfordshire, Oxford, OX1 1

Reporting to the HR Manager, to provide comprehensive and confidential HR administration and first line HR support service to the Business.

To provide an effective HR administration service:

Receiving incoming internal and external calls to the HR team you will provide first line HR support and advice, escalating queries to specialist HR teams as necessary
Supporting Managers and Employees with a wide range of HR and payroll related queries including advice on employment policies
Supporting the business with HR administration such as preparing offer letters, induction packs, contract change letters, employment references and the processing of other HR related activities to meet the agreed Service Level Agreements in place.
Responsibility for ensuring that all HR records are up-to-date and accurate whether electronic or paper based and is in a structured format.
Continuingly review and improve standard procedures and processes to ensure that the best service delivery is given to the business
Ensure the required employment documentation is received and meets company policy or legal requirements.
Ensure appropriate authorisation levels are received for all employment related processes & procedures.
Liaise with other Central Function departments including Payroll, Finance etc.
To provide other administrative support to the wider HR Function including Talent, L&D, HRBP's.

? Experience of HR based administration is essential

? A basic knowledge of HR practices is essential

? The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service approach

? Excellent attention to detail with strong numeracy and literacy skills

? Highly organized, with a systematic approach to tasks you will be self-motivated and able to work independently

? Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office experience

? Experience of HR, Payroll and Self Service Systems
