Our client

On behalf of our multinational partner which is operating in the Language Industry we are looking for a candidate in the position of Head Of Global Language Services.

Tasks

- Lead the global operational business unit to achieve/exceed targets
- Ensure the structure and processes are in place to support business goals
- Develop and drive strategy for Language Services.
- Drive a global, matrix operating model maximising opportunities to offshore and increase flexibility of resources
- Enable cross functional teams to implement effective workflow processes and strategies ensuring the most cost effective delivery of services
- Motivate, coach and develop departmental leaders so enabling them to lead, motivate and develop their teams to deliver to customer and business requirements
- Set and monitor utilisation targets across the board, utilising equipment and resources to fulfil projects by the most effective method, ensuring maximum profitability is achieved and customer requirements are met.
- Track performance against SLAs and KPIs by maintaining regular inspection/reporting means to ensure the business is on track.
- Ensure robust quality processes are in place for all aspects of the business and quality checks are carried out to ensure standards are maintained.
- Liaise with key customers and suppliers as appropriate.
- Drive and support offering and business innovation.
- Develop same account revenue growth through exceptional service and identifying opportunities to extend or introduce new services.

Requirements

- College or University degree
- Expert knowledge of localisation (language industry): market, processes, tools
- Very strong operational management background
- Proven people management skills
- Demonstrabel problem solving skills
- Ability to convey concepts and ideas effectively to a variety of audiences
- Experience of leading and managing teams across multiple sites and timezones
- Strong business acumen, ability to analyse financial data, P & Ls etc.
