Guest Services Shift Leader - London, City Of Westminster, W2 2TY

The Lancaster London 4* Deluxe Hotel is presently hiring for a Guest Services Shift Leader, to help us provide the highest standards of efficiency, service and customer delight in a pleasant, yet demanding environment.

Your main responsibility will be to oversee and support all Guest Service areas (including switchboard, business centre, concierge, doormen and luggage porters). You will drive and motivate all team members to ensure a consistent, 'Five Red Star hospitality experience' at every touch point through effective leadership and development of the Guest Services Team.

The ideal candidate will be well presented, positive in outlook with natural warmth, be committed, and confident in supervising and supportinga close knit team. A clear speaking voice and fluency in the English language (both spoken and written) is essential, as is willingness to conduct presentations and training sessions. Above all, you should enjoy interacting with a diverse variety of guests and colleagues, often whilstunder pressure.

As well as having switchboard/ telephone answeringexperience, you will already have a good working knowledge of MS Windows programmes, general office equipment and some administrative work. After initial training, you will also need to be fully conversant in the working standards of all roles within Guest Services and to be qualified and willing to cover any absences where necessary (day and night).
