Global Supply Chain Systems Specialist

Global Supply Chain Systems Specialist
Global Reporting works with report owners to deliver large-scale automated and ad hoc reporting solutions that make use of global sources including
• Track the portfolio of global reporting solutions
• Work with report owners and IT to design large-scale reporting solutions, e.g., KPIs
Enable self-service reporting solutions for end users
• Responsible for the live cycle (technical ownership) of an individual report, KPI or data generation solution (all called solutions)
• Maintain relationship to BPO of individual solution and valid assignment in data base
• Maintain all other responsible people assignments per solution as required in DB
• Create and update change management tool in case of changes
• Maintain activity timelines and resource planning & capacity
• Maintain internal KPIs tracking and reporting for operational review
• Work with solution community, BPO and IT on improving solution
• Act as business analyst in certain agreed cases, depending on depth of knowledge
• Ensure the user requirements, tests and training documents are up-to-date and validated by process owners
• Maintain connections (links) of documents to solutions in DB
• Maintain portfolio and resource planning of changes of enhancements incl. Priorities
• Collaborate with project management for new solutions and large enhancement that are built in 'project' mode
• Review the DB on regular basis for accuracy
• Act as hub for solution community
• Work closely with a team of system and process experts to deliver solution designs, lead systems projects, and test solutions, ensuring they meet customer expectations
• Apply solution expertise within assigned module/area. Gain cross-functional expertise in other modules and/or systems supported by the team (e.g. deputy function)
• Provide solution consulting within the organization
• Act as the highest level escalation point within the System Community for significant incident/problem assessments and guidance and act as communication channel into the community
• In case of an organizational community design: Lead frequent Super User meetings to both facilitate the cross-functional leveling of change request and to ensure a high level of Super User proficiency
• Assess assigned Super User Community and takes action to close gaps and drive improvements; reports status and plans to the SCL (System Community Lead)
• Deliver system trainings to Super Users (and end-users) to maintain expertise at a level sufficient to support their respective user areas in agreed cases only. Deliverable depending on depth of expertise


• B.S. degree in business, engineering, or technology is required, SAP certifications are a plus

• Advanced knowledge of the designed reporting/KPI solution
• Good knowledge of the customers supply chain processes
• Alternatively good knowledge in pharmaceutical supply chain processes
• Strong knowledge of handling the SAP Business Warehouse reporting and front-end tools
• Good knowledge in handling Excel or other presentation tools
• Good knowledge in managing portfolio and tracking activities
• Capable of drawing insight from analyses, developing recommendations, and communicating in a clear, concise and well-organized manner
• Motivated self-starter able to work with ambiguity and uncertainty, effective with minimal instruction / supervision
• Able to foster cross-functional partnership and influence agreement without authority. Able to organize and handle multiple small projects, strong consulting and customer service skills. Track record of timely high-quality achievement of deliverables, experience working with teams of business and technical resources
• Fluent in English, German is a plus

Note: Flexible to work with users in global time zones; willingness to travel (up to 20%)
