PwC is organisationally split into three lines of service (Assurance, Tax and Advisory) along with Internal Firm Services (IFS) which comprises functions such as Marketing, Internal Communications, Business Development, KM, Finance, Risk & Quality and IT.
This marketing executive role supports the global Financial Services marketing team in the delivery of the internal communications and external marketing strategy for global FS. The marketing programme focuses on the FS Big Bets; Future landscape of FS (Project Blue); Impact of Regulation; Risk Management and Euro zone.
You will be actively involved in all the major internal and external marketing projects working within a team of four (Manager, SM x2 and Director). Based in the London office, you will work with the global and territory network of FS and sector leaders, client teams, FS subject matter experts, FS KM and the wider FS Operations team as well as the global network of marketing and communications teams.
We are looking for someone with good all round marketing and communications skills who can work in a team environment as well as being a confident self-starter.
About the role
This is a replacement role within the team. The primary reporting line is to the Global FS Marketing Director and your key stakeholders are the members of the global FS marketing team.
Key aspects of your role will be to:
• Project manage the web site enhancement programme for the global FS, Banking, Insurance and Asset Management sites. This project includes both the design and content refresh and focuses on creating a sustainable process-light programme for its on-going viability. This project will address the FS Big Bets in terms of the content sources (Project Blue, Impact of Regulation, Risk and The Euro zone). • Contribute to the development and delivery of the global FS Big Bets marketing programme covering Future of FS (including Project Blue), Impact of Regulation, Risk, Euro zone and People. • Maintain the internal communications programme ensuring we are reaching and engaging with key stakeholders across the network at all times. • Add value by identifying and proposing original and creative opportunities that are aimed at demonstrating our expertise and relevance at a global and territory level to our internal network and global clients. • To collaborate with the other marketing and communications teams across the firm, to identify possible synergies, share best practices and avoid duplicating efforts. • Work collaboratively with FS KM to leverage their skills in the development and delivery of the programme (industry/sector analysis, SME network connectivity, internal communication tools etc.) and utilise this data on an on-going basis. • Identify, develop and nurture an effective working relationship with other industry, territory and LoS marketing and communications networks, to ensure effective implementation of the programme. • Support the delivery of the PwC brand and it's attributes through the marketing and communications strategy
• Solid marketing and communications experience
• A thorough and comprehensive knowledge of marketing and communications best practice will need to be demonstrated and applied, tailored to meet the requirements of internal and external clients at all time.
• Ability to maintain an open and creative approach to deliver innovative and achievable marketing and communications programmes.
• Ability to lead and inspire confidence in one's ability, while being commercially minded, confident and self-motivated.
• Proven project management skills are required, as you will be required to prioritise competing project activities and deliver a first class marketing and communications service to a broad range of clients.
• Good communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills will be required in order to develop and maintain internal relationships with key clients.
• Diplomacy, pragmatism as well as political and cultural sensitivity are required in order to manage expectations, and deal effectively with the challenges of supporting diverse business partnerships.
