The beautiful Pub is in a seaside town and has a strong breakfast trade during the week as well as a good food trade in general.
The bar area is a long bar zoned into different areas and has a raised section with booth seating. It is the only place in town to watch Sky and BT sports and on a weekend it turns into a circuit bar. This pub needs to be entertainment driven during the season to maximise the sales potential from.

The successful General Manager (Pub) should be someone who can display good sales building skills, be motivational to the team and encourage a can do attitude.
The pub is in a busy seaside town so being able to flex the business out of season is essential.
We are looking for a driven individual who can illustrate sales and team building activities as well as a thirst for great service and standards

You will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team in order to control, develop and improve all aspects of the business including: P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and brand integrity.

Highly motivated, and of smart appearance, the successful General Manager (Pub) MUST have the following attributes
• Completion of Albert's Accelerator (or industry equivalent).
• Flexible and committed.
• Passion for food and drink quality and service and standards.
• Be able to work unsupervised in a busy environment.
• Be a team player.

Reporting to the Area Manager and responsible for all employees at site, duties will include (amongst others)
• To control, develop and improve all aspects of the business including: P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and brand integrity.
• Maximise all sales opportunities.
• Possess full product knowledge and awareness of profit margins associated with products.
• Demonstrate commercial awareness of ordering, and stock control.
• Understand the pub's budget and manage expenditure accordingly.
