General Manager - Operations Control - Leeds, Yeadon, LS19 7TU

Reporting to the Operations Director, the General Manager - Operations Control will be responsible for the 24/7 Operations Control Centre and delivery of the flying programme. This primarily includes control of the 50+ aircraft fleet to provide cost effective and customer focused operations solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our business.

The General Manager - Operations Control will lead, manage and motivate the Operations, Crewing, Customer Operations and Travel Services Teams. You will ensure 'On Time Performance' targets are met across the business and liaise with Teams to identify any potential issues, making recommendations for improvements. You will also liaise and provide active reporting to all other and Jet2holidays Teams to ensure safety, operational compliance , minimisation of costs and maximisation of revenue can be facilitated through the timely deployment of the aircraft and crew.

Overseeing the Customer Operations Team keeping Customers updated of any changes, and ensuring the Travel Services Team provide cost effective management of the travel budget is also a key part of the role.

As an experienced senior leader, you will ideally have the relevant experience in the control of a large aircraft fleet, proven experience of managing a 24/7 shift system operation and experience in the development of mission critical systems. Previous experience of station management, engineering operations or crewing would be an advantage.

You will also be robust in your decision making and consistently demonstrate the commercial acumen required to succeed in this environment. As well as leading by example, you will inspire your teams to deliver and live the Jet2. com values and Company ethos.
