General Ledger Team Leader
Our client, a global company with sites across Europe has an excellent opportunity for a General Ledger Team Leader to join their Service Center in Budapest.
The General Ledger Team Leader is responsible for providing service to certain EMEA countries by ensuring that all expenses and costs are properly and precisely booked by the deadline, in compliance with all the corporate and local legislation.
This will involve preparing analytics for markets, cooperation with External and Internal Auditors and other Finance teams (mainly on monthly reporting), participating in monthly, quarterly and year end closings, ensuring the stability of corporate accounting policies and the US GAAP. The General Ledger Team Leader position plays an integral role in making sure that expenses, costs and accruals are booked against the appropriate cost centers. You will frequently partner with and support local market entities and various other teams across Europe whilst recruit and develop a team of clerks.
The successful applicant ideally has 5 or more years accounting experience plus supervisory background (at least two years) Familiarity with SAP, SOX and accounting standards and business fluency in English are vital.
