General Ledger / Finance Analyst (French) (Budapest)

On behalf of our multinational Client who is one of Europe's leading providers of communication services, with over 21 million corporate and residential customers in the UK alone. They provide the best communications services and solutions for individuals in the UK and for corporate customers across Europe. We are currently looking for:

General Ledger / Finance Analyst (French) (Budapest)

Responsibilities:

• Processing system generated general ledger documents (reports) within agreed timescales
• Ensure all intercompany activity are booked to General Ledger, carry out reconciliation
• Executes ad-hoc and local management reports related to the General Accounting Activities
• Prepare cashflow, working capital forecast and funding requests
• Support internal and external audits, ensure work is performed according to Group Accounting Policies, Accounting Standards and meet with SOX requirements,
• Identifies opportunities for continuous process improvement
• Support migration process through knowledge transfer and testing

Qualifications:

• College or University degree (finance / accountancy / economics)
• Fluency in English is a must and German / French / Italian / Spanish / Turkish / Dutch language knowledge at least at intermediate level
• Min 5 years working experience in Finance
• Min 2 years working experience in General Ledger
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Attention to accuracy and details
• Ability to meet priorities and deadlines
• Experience of Oracle would be an advantage
• Experience in migration, transition of accounting processes is an advantage
