PwC's Forensic Services team comprises around 400 people in the UK, based in London, Belfast, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester and, most recently, the South East region. The group's services are wide ranging and include dispute resolution, fraud and other financial investigations, non-financial investigations, construction claims, contract reviews and licensing management. Our group includes accountants, former regulators, civil engineers and IT specialists and we are part of a global network of over 1700 Forensic Services professionals within the global PwC network.
We are growing a dedicated Forensics Services business in Reading and have ambitious plans for growth over the next 3 years. As a result, we have an opportunity for a manager to join the team. Based in Reading, you will have responsibility for managing projects and developing new business.

The role also requires a certain degree of flexibility and mobility, with some travel required.
About the role
Working under the supervision of a senior manager or partner the role will involve managing teams of staff on a range of projects including investigations, transaction related matters and disputes. It will involve building relationships internally and externally to develop our business.
The team is growing both in the UK and globally, offering excellent opportunities for career progression.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
• The day to day management of project teams, including staff development and coaching.
• Drafting detailed and compelling expert reports for clients.
• Liaising and working with other teams both within the UK firm and the wider PwC network of member firms.
• Developing existing and new client relationships for Forensic Services and the wider Firm.

Suitable applicants will be/have:
• ACA qualified (with a 2:1 degree or equivalent) with experience working in a large professional services firm.
• An articulate and confident communicator, both orally and written.
• Analytical aptitude.
• The ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and work under tight deadlines.
• The ability to work independently with little supervision, but integrate well into teams.
• A strong desire to learn and willingness to share knowledge and coach more junior staff.
