PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP's Licensing Management practice provides services through our global team of licensing professionals. Our services include working with organisations on a variety of matters relating to Intellectual Property including delivering global licensing and royalty compliance programmes. We also provide third party contract review services, for example, across an organisation's supply chain. To continue with the significant growth plans for the practice, we are looking to recruit a Senior Manager who has a track record in delivering large licensing, royalty compliance and contract reviews programmes across a broad range of sectors including Entertainment & Media and Pharmaceuticals.
The individual would ideally have a Big 4 background with a track record of sales and developing business opportunities with Intellectual Property owners and contributing to, or leading on, such opportunities.
Your skills will need to include:
· Exceptional analytical and technical aptitude;
· High level of enthusiasm, energy and personal integrity;
· Strong desire to learn and willingness to share knowledge;
· Ability to work independently with little supervision, but integrate well into teams;
· Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and work under tight deadlines;
· Concise and clear communication when presenting and explaining results and findings
· Developing new business opportunities
· Ability to develop relationships with key buyers of licensing/contract compliance services
About the role:
As a Senior Manager working within the Licensing Management practice you will be challenged to organise, coach, motivate and develop a team of Managers, Senior Associates and Analysts.
You will have experience of building strong relationships with clients, scoping projects, identifying risks, providing cost estimates and managing the delivery of those projects within defined budgets. You will regularly report to Directors, Partners and your clients, providing clear and concise details of progress and findings.
You will have the opportunity to take ownership of and actively contribute to operational roles within our business unit and to draw on your business and technical expertise to develop new products and services.
We will look to you for fresh insight into how our existing processes can be streamlined and what innovations we can offer our clients.
Specific points of responsibility include:
· Leading and managing large compliance programmes
· Leading and managing a portfolio of projects
· Development of more junior staff
· Product innovation
