PwC's Forensic Services group consists of around 390 people in the UK, based in London, Belfast, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester. The group's services are wide ranging and include dispute resolution, fraud and other financial investigations, non-financial investigations, construction claims, contract reviews and licensing management. Our group includes accountants, former regulators, civil engineers and IT specialists and we are part of a global network of over 1700 Forensic Services professionals within the global PwC network.
The Forensics Services business in London has ambitious plans for growth over the next 3 years and as a result, has an opportunity for a Director or experienced Senior Manager to join the team. You will have responsibility for building on our existing client base and developing new business, focusing on our London mid-tier practice. The role also requires significant flexibility and mobility, with national and international travel sometimes required.
Internal Secondments will be considered for this opportunity.
About the role
Reporting to the leader of our Forensics mid-tier business the role will be to help develop and grow the practice.
It will involve managing and running our practice and developing business internally through liaison with senior members of the wider firm, particular our Forensics Services, Transactions Services, Business Recovery, Risk Assurance, and Corporate Finance teams, and externally with target clients.
The team is growing both in the UK and globally, offering excellent opportunities for career progression.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
• Leading investigation and disputes engagements, including the use of intelligence gathering and forensic technology techniques, across a broad range of industries.
• The day to day management of teams, including staff development and coaching.
• Producing detailed, yet succinct, and compelling expert reports for clients, including preparation and delivery of both oral and written output.
• Liaising and working with other teams both within the UK firm and the wider PwC network of member firms.
• Developing existing and new client relationships for Forensic Services and the wider Firm. Responsible for generating revenues.

Suitable applicants will be/have:
• ACA qualified with experience working in a large professional services firm.
• An articulate and confident communicator, both orally and written.
• A recognised expert with significant experience in both general Investigations and Disputes matters.
• Experience of utilising forensic technology capabilities.
• A demonstrable record of successfully leading large/multiple teams in crisis environments in order to deliver excellent work product, building strong and effective client relationships.
• A strong network of relationships, demonstrable flow of work / market strategy, with a proven track record of generating new revenues and leveraging existing engagements.
• Driven, with an ability to generate and effectively communicate vision and strategy, motivating and inspiring others, in order to achieve agreed goals.
