Tasks:

  • Driving the team to success through delivering targets and contributing to the overall objectives
  • Controlling processing schedules  &resource allocation (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) to achieve required timetables and financial closes
  • Ensuring appropriate controls are in place across the processes and are being actioned to eliminate errors and ensure quality services are being delivered
  • Preparing required reports to continually control and identify required changes in operation, e.g. KPI report
  • Ensuring continuous high quality standards by supporting the team; identifying the lack of competencies and taking action accordingly, preparing and following up on training plan, encouraging knowledge sharing
  • Team and people management, individual performance tracking, 1-2-1 meetings, coaching
  • Driving and initiating improvement of processes to increase effectiveness
  • Taking the responsibility of decision making within scope of team leader role
  • Regular reporting activity; including weekly monthly updates to the partners/ superiors/managers
  • Cooperation with departments in countries and within BSC  to ensure in competent problem-solving, maintaining constant relationship

Requirements:

  • College or university degree in economics preferably in business or economics
  • Confident English language knowledge both verbal and written
  • French language knowledge is an advantage
  • At least 2-3 years of experience gained in accounting, ideally in a Shared Service environment
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience is expected
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Logical thinking and proactive problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to  prioritize in a faced paced environment
  • Precision
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Confident use of MsOffice especially Excel
  • Enthusiasm, willingness to go the extra mile to achieve team success
