Financial Planning Risk Analyst - Swindon, City, SN3 1TA

We need:
•A Financial Planning Risk Analyst in our head offices in Swindon
•Up to £32,000 a year on a permanent contract.

As a Financial Planning Risk Analyst you'll help us improve our strategy further by ensuring portfolio impairments are well understood, feeding valuable insight back into the business to help shape future credit strategy.

Who we're looking for
For this role you will need:
•Strong quantitative degree e.g. Mathematics, Economics or Statistics (2:1 or above)
•The ability to approach complex problems and apply a logical method to draw out appropriate insight,
•You'll need to be comfortable working both autonomously on individual projects and as part of a larger team,
•Experience in analytical tools such as SAS,
•Excellent time management skills,
•Good communication and influencing skills,
•Relevant experience in at least one of the following areas: risk management/oversight, impairment/provision reporting, capital reporting, portfolio forecasting
•An understanding of our organisation and the products we offer would be advantageous.

What you'll be doing
You'll be supporting the Senior Analyst / Risk Manager to:
•Report and forecast the risk performance of all our Retail portfolios,
•Provide valuable insight into historic and emerging portfolio trends,
•Communicate portfolio performance to Senior Management,
•Undertake ad-hoc analysis
