The CEE SBU (Central Europe & East Strategic Business Unit) has its headquarter in Kehl, Germany, with one assembly site in Stare Mesto in the Czech Republic. SBU is currently operating in Germany, Belgium, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Poland, Romania, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Ukraine, Hungary and Slovenia.

The jobholder is appointed to perform Bookkeeping functions for Hungary (booking supplier invoices in SAP) and Financial Analyst functions for Hungary and Romania based in Budapest, group reporting, liaising with CEE FP & A Manager and Country Chief Accountants.

CEE FP & A Manager

Key contact to country Chief Accountants, local business, SBU Controllers and with CEE FP&A Manager.

Bookkeeping, Financial and operational reporting, planning and analysis for Hungary and Romania, ad-hoc and query resolution.


Main tasks:

  • Registering supplier invoices in SAP for Hungary
  • Generating forecasts, monthly target / actual comparisons and reports (processing of performance indicators and summary reports)
  • Creation and analysis of investment, profitability and efficiency calculations as support for decision making, participation in profitability and investment studies
  • Active monitoring and coordination of budget planning, responsibility for reviewing the budget compliance
  • Ad-hoc analysis for Hungary/Romania
  • Continuous optimization of internal processes in collaboration with operational departments from the region ECE
  • Checking of monthly reconciliations
  •  Preparation of Powerpoint presentations

 Requirements (background, experience, language):

  • University degree (business administration, industrial engineering) with a focus on controlling.
  • Min 2 years of professional experience in controlling/bookkeeping position of an international industrial / service company.

  • Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel); Experience to extract reports from databases.     
  • Knowledge of SAP, Cognos, Hyperion in the area are desirable.
  • Fluent Hungarian and English language; Romanian is an advantage.
