Finance Process Manager
Our well-know client in the sector of oil and gas is looking for an Expert Finance Processes and Project Manager.

Purpose of the position:
Support Head of Controlling & Finance Central Region, Finance Managers and business management proactively in all financial (Controlling and Finance) issues and questions (in operative business and projects) for HU, CZ, SK and SI.

  • Evaluate and take finance decisions in projects and cost positions.
  • Identify financial issues and support solutions with local management, controlling, finance, accounting, tax, insurance.
  • Support Hungarian Accounting&Tax team during daily operations.
  • Perform financial and economic evaluations, impairment testing and investment-/value-oriented (controlling) activities.
  • Develop and ensure assessment for financial/economic optimization and coordination of activities.
  • Challenge MTP, annual budgets and forecasts for local companies.
  • Support Merger & Acquisition process from a financial point of view.
  • Secure compliance to group wide governance principles and being responsible of the Internal Control System for CZ/SK/HU/SI (implementation, coordination, governance, roll out, execution plan).
  • Quality improvements, harmonisations and automatizations of accounting and reporting processes including the lead of those initiatives.
  • Lead special projects esp. with regard to increase financial transparency, performance, harmonisation between business segments and support the coordination and implementation of financial decisions.
  • Implement of standards, regulations and procedures in order to ensure quality and consistency as well as the compliance with the company Accounting and Controlling standards.
  • Supporting the local management in ICS related topics by providing related guidance in cross‐organizational topics, in developing/changing of processes and managing the development of the necessary procedures.

  • Knowledge about state of the art controlling and accounting (IFRS and local) and how to apply it.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive team player with good soft skills and fluency in English.
  • University degree (Solid finance/economic / accounting background).
  • Computer literacy: MS Office, Internet, Outlook, SAP.
  • 5-8 years’ relevant professional experience.
  • Proactive, result oriented personality.
  • Analytical, rational, accurate and reliable working attitude.
