Finance and Accounting Project Manager

Our client is a global, broad-based health care company devoted to discovering new medicines, new technologies and new ways to manage health. They have sales, manufacturing, research and development, and distribution facilities around the world, close to where their customers need them to be.



Project management

  • Supports the SSC management team in implementation of the project on time, on budget, on quality
  • Coordinates and supports the SMEs and Trainers
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Suggests areas for improvement in financial processes
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Communicate to the SSC management, project team and affiliates
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
  • Internal and external stakeholder management
  • Review the SLA based on the actual finance operation under the project umbrella
  • Make suggestions on changes / upgrades
  • Coordinate the update process with Finance operation and with the affiliates

Overall responsibility for the implementation of global project to SSC finance operation, cross functional

  • Coordinate and align with SSC Operational managers in general
  • Scope and sizing meeting/ follow up, as base of SSC FTE and process support requirement
  • Align about operational FTE needs after the project implementation
  • Align about project miles stones and go-live dates with SSC
  • Organize and coordinate a cross functional SSC internal project team
  • Coordinate SLA approval for the new affiliates
  • Organize, coordinate and support training events conducted by the SSC
  • Coordinate SSC process documentation completion and approval for all SSC department for the go-lives
  • Coordinate system access and approver roles for process documentation approvals
  • Coordinate Ticketing accesses for the new affiliates
  • Coordinate Closing calendar implementation for the new affiliates
  • Coordinate Reporting and other necessary system access for SSC and local users
  • Organize project kick-off calls
  • Coordinate/initiate travels (SSC related)
  • Responsible for travel forms and expenses, approval and sign based on budget
  • Conduct info sessions regularly about the project, including project kick-off, detailed tasks, responsibility and overall status for related SSC parties
  • Align SSC operation tasks if applicable, during the project phase or during go-lives
  • Regular communication (meeting, e-mail) about the project status and completed mile stones within SSC
  • Organize any other event or workshop in SSC if the project requires



  • College or University degree concentration on Finance or Accounting
  •  Accounting IAS Certification (CPA, ACCA) desirable
  • At least 2,5 years of experience in SSC environment in the field Finance and Accounting and/or Procurement
  • At least 1,5 year of Project Management experience
  • Fluent English, any other language is an advantage
  • You have a good command of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent project management and planning approach
  • Strong communicator & team player

  • Has good problem analysis and resolution skills
