Factory Controller

Reed Specialist Recruitment is in partnership with an international FMCG Company.

Reed is supporting in attracting and recruiting financial professional to their local finance team.

The new colleague will be responsible for the controlling activates related production and factories.


Factory Controller





Responsibilities from leadership point of view:

  • Works logically toward solutions

  • Good knowledge of internal and external business partners
  • Represent good stakeholder management skills including non-finance and senior stakeholders.


Responsibilities from daily routine point of view:


  • To take responsibility for the day to day management of the cost line of the P&L (production & logistics costs)
  • Support factory director, factory and logistics teams in annual operating planning and medium-term planning
  • Prepare and post accruals to ensure the month-end results show the clear and fair picture on the P&L and ensure smooth and accurate month-end closes
  • Take part of the monthly forecast cycle
  • Provide quality and meaningful analysis to stakeholders
  • Analyses of production fix and variable costs, weekly and monthly reporting if financial and non-financial KPIs
  • Stock valuation and revaluation on yearly basis
  • Continuously monitor the respective P&L accounts for any inconsistencies
  • To ensure that financial processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are strictly adhered to in line with control processes
  • To contribute ideas, energy, enthusiasm and support to the continuous improvement of the process
  • Prepare tools to support factory & production performance
  • Decision support activities and execute ad hoc analyses





  • University / College degree in finance / accounting / business
  • At least 3-5 years working experience in a multinational corporate environment,

with exposure to some of the following areas:

  • Preferably strong Financial Accounting / Reporting / Controlling experience
  • Internal / external audit experience is an advantage
  • Experience within FMCG sector / or production controlling experience is an advantage
  • Fluent English knowledge (oral and written communication)
  • PC skills/System knowledge
  • MS applications
  • Strong/advanced Excel knowledge
  • SAP FI /CO modules. (BW, MSTR, and CRM knowledge is an advantage)
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to learn and develop
  • Good communication and presentation skills, able to clearly communicate own view and manage expectations and able to prioritize
  • Strong analytical skills, able to see and understand the big picture and deliver high level messages, offering alternative solutions for issues.
  • Ability to work alone, attention to details/accuracy,
  • Able to work with stakeholders in remote locations
  • Self-motivator and ability to manage own schedule and personal drive to take ownership and deliver solutions
