Responsibilities:

  • As Sales Controller, you are responsible for leading the value chain improvement/analyses, by co-piloting the commercial organization, and by acting as a proactive and hands on business partner, with the ultimate aim to improve ROS
  • Support the commercial controller in the value chain analysis of Sales including Wholesale, HoReCa and Independent Retail
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of Sales activities and promotions
  • Define and realise process improvement initiatives across the spectrum of working with Sales 
  • Present recommendation on commercial meetings and drive implementation of approved guidelines/ rules
  • Implement group best practices and ensure adherence to group guidelines and practices
  • Contribute to monthly closure, budgeting and planning cycle
  • Translate sales volumes to financial insights, by partnering up with sales in forecast preparation
  • Help Sales with performance tracking and management with regular and ad-hoc analysis on various fields of the value chain
  • Act as gate keeper between Accounting and Sales on topic of Bonus, Accruals
  • Support the TT optimization with analyses (within TTOP framework) and ensure relevant arguments delivered through insights and customer profitability understanding

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or degree in relevant field (finance, economics, marketing, etc.) or MBA
  • At least 3 years experience in finance, marketing or sales positions, preferably in the FMCG industry. 
  • Experience in commercial finance is an advantage
  • Understanding of FMCG category (Route to Market, Distribution models, Shopper Marketing) 
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Persuasion, negotiation, reasoning and problem-solving skills 
  • Initiative, diplomacy, tact and sound judgment 
  • Skills to create buy-in into strategy
