The product is a performance-optimized, highly scalable email marketing platform. As a DevOps Engineer, you are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the productive systems. This includes ensuring high availability, adjusting the infrastructure to growing customer needs, rolling out new software versions and performing data migration processes. In order to achieve all this, you deploy a state-of the-art infrastructure which involves server virtualization, clustering, storage solutions, etc. Based on your in-depth knowledge about the application which you acquire over time, and with the help of fine tuning, you exploit the existing possibilities of our system to maximum effect.
YOU COME WITH A WIDE RANGE OF KNOW-HOW…
As a technical allrounder you effortlessly handle both the Linux/Unix system administration and the use of internet technologies like HTTP, DNS, SMTP, SSL, etc. The platform is implemented primarily in Scala/Java, uses PostgreSQL as a database backend and RabbitMQ as messaging middleware. Experience with our Open Source Software stack help you to get started. You use automation techniques like Ansible or similar to make your daily work more efficient; in addition, you have good knowledge of network administration.
