Environmental Health Officers (two posts) - Full time 37 hours essential car user allowance and relocation costs payable
The posts involve working in the food, health and safety team carrying out a wide range of Environmental Health functions.
You should be capable of inspecting all categories of food business under the Code of Practice, have undertaken health and safety inspections, investigations, and infectious disease control work. Your duties will range from inspecting premises and investigating complaints, providing advice and business support to taking appropriate enforcement or legal action. The role involves work with all sectors of the community and with internal and external partners, to maintain and improve the quality and safety of the business environment for those people who live in, work in or visit Copeland.

Applicants must hold a degree in Environmental Health or a similar qualification and be registered with the EHRB or equivalent and applicants must hold a current driving licence.
