ENTERPRISE CAMPUS - SECRETARY
The Enterprise Campus is a new 3-year collaborative programme supporting high growth company formation and entrepreneurship amongst postgraduate students at Scottish universities. Enterprise Campus will operate regionally from three hubs at the University of Aberdeen, the University of Edinburgh and the University of Strathclyde. The programme will augment existing enterprise activity at Scottish universities, providing specialist advice, mentoring, training and services to postgraduates undertaking high growth company formation projects.
Three roles will be available in the Enterprise Campus programme based in the Research and Innovation team at the University of Aberdeen.
Research and Innovation (R & I) is the Research and Technology Transfer Office of the University with responsibility for supporting the University's researchers and their research portfolio together with the management of knowledge exchange activities.
This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and experienced Secretary to join the Enterprise Campus programme in Old Aberdeen. The holder of this newly created post will be required to support the Enterprise Campus programme and the other Enterprise Campus programme staff. This will involve a great deal of contact with undergraduate and postgraduate students. The successful candidate will be proactive, highly organised and expected to have excellent administrative / secretarial skills. You should also be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise your tasks within set deadlines.
This is a part-time post (0.5 FTE) preferably Monday to Friday.
This post is not on the current "shortage occupation" list and does not meet the minimum qualification requirements as issued by the Border and Immigration Agency therefore it will not qualify for a work permit. Unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from candidates for this post who require a work permit to work in the UK.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 3 salary scale (£18,031 - £20,781 per annum pro rata), with placement according to qualifications and experience.
The post is available immediately for a period of up to 3 years. Secondment arrangements will also be considered.
