To work as part of a small team to adequately document new DRPs, perform annual review and updates on existing DRPs in accordance to contractual obligations in CSL 1.5.1 and therefore avoid penalties for non-performance.
To review and update DR plans and coordinate updating of technical runbooks for new DRP’s being developed, to ensure that the DR services can be registered and delivered to customer on a timely basis.
To provide coordination and support for internal Delivery Units and also external bundles for annual and ad-hoc DRP tests in order to provide a coordinated response to the customer and ensuring compliance with contracted service levels in CSL 1.5.2 and therefore avoiding penalties for non performance.
Activities include but not limited to:
To plan ,schedule and prepare annual test calendar including getting agreement on test dates with the customer
To coordinate pre-test planning sessions, including change ticket creation
To conduct post testing review sessions
To prepare post test reports (for Contracted DRPs)
To document and monitor remediation actions identified during the test
To suggest recommendations for improvement in future tests
To collate and prepare DR related CSL & KM metrics reports for SLM reporting on monthly basis.
To perform DRP Onboarding / Off-boarding in accordance to the established processes , including quality assurance on related documentation in order to ensure customer DRP’s can be registered in a timely manner.
To provide coordination support to Situation Managers when Disaster Recovery Plans are invoked during a disaster event.
To provide quality assurance of Disaster Recovery Plans, Test Plans, Post Test Reports and other DR related documents provided by the Delivery Units or from the Project Team.
To assist with audits on DR and to perform remediation on any related audit findings.
To conduct training and awareness sessions for the internal Delivery Units to meet contractual obligations on KM 16.9.1 and 16.9.2.
