are looking for a candidate for the position of a Director of Leisure Sales. This role is responsible for contributing to the achievement of Leisure Sales comprising of FIT, Leisure Groups  and electronic  leisure channels. Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales and Marketing, within the limits of established policies, procedures implements all sales activities in his/her specific area of responsibility with the goal of achieving targeted budget goals in the Leisure segments.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Growing and maintaining share of FIT, Leisure Groups,  electronic leisure business to exploit   the full  potential of working, buying and e-market platforms
  • Produces, implements and monitors action plans in order to ensure revenue budget objectives are achieved for Prague Hotels on the assigned segments
  • Manages key accounts with main OTA’s, FIT & Groups whole sellers, Tour operators and other   leisure partners through personal sales calls, telephone contacts and written communications ensuring all opportunities for business generation are taken advantage of within the account portfolio
  • Designs and implements commercial strategies and activities for the Leisure Sales segment for Corinthia Hotel Prague & Panorama Hotel Prague in order to achieve revenue and profit plans for both hotels
  • Manages the activity and performance of a team of 2 sales managers and 3 sales executives ensuring the team accomplishes its targets in terms of level of activity, conversion and business delivery across the leisure sales segments
  • Liaises with regional sales offices, global sales team and head office personnel ensuring the Prague hotels follows standards of operation as per company policies
  • Organises detailed plans with the relevant costing for Leisure channels marketing activities

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Leisure Sales/Internet Sales/Marketing, preferably in the   local market in a hotel or agency environment
  • Have a good knowledge of Leisure Sales and Online marketing
  • Ability to work independently with pro-active and business driven approach
  • Very good communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to lead negotiations and sales meetings in English language
  • Knowledge od Czech or Slovak language is a great advantage, but not a must
  • Knowledge of Opera or Fidelio PMS systems would be an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office with focus on Excel and PowerPoint
