Our client offers online gaming products to customers and partners all over the world and aim to deliver the best customer experience in the industry. Most of them work in the operational Head Office in Malta but they also have other offices around the world, for example in Stockholm, Tbilisi and Tallinn.
This leadership position, which reports to our CTO, will be responsible for delivering and executing on various engineering initiatives.
We are looking for a driven and passionate individual who has in depth knowledge of evolving infrastructure technologies, strategic mind-set and a solid understanding of the industry.
Overall responsible for all infrastructure and the strategies going forward
Be the champion for all things operational - drive improved reliability and availability, build new tools and platforms, advocate for new processes and approaches
Build out teams, tools, and processes to deliver high availability systems and services in a cost-effective, efficient manner
Drive the vision and execution of our systems infrastructure organization internally to the company
Promote our vision in an external manner as well through external speaking engagements with industry partners
Own insuring that as we deploy our solutions they are being reviewed and approved from a systems architecture and design perspective
Work hand in hand with our R&D teams throughout the development lifecycle
Development of a budget for your organization and the management to that budget
To be successful in this role you will have to possess:
Minimum of 10 years senior managerial experience (Including managing a support and infrastructure team)
Experience within the gaming industry
A varied technical understanding and background inc: SQL / WAN/LAN / Windows / VMware / Exchange / Mobile DevicesExtremely strong communication skills
Ambition, strategic mind-set, ability to be proactive and to work within a busy sales environment
A solid understanding of the industry trends, with the ability to analyze future trends
