Responsibilities
Establish credibility with prospective clients by demonstrating knowledge of various aspects of Information Security and identify opportunities for assistance;
Provide thought leadership and direction for the Information Security practice;
Help recruit, retain and develop the Information Security team by bringing superior leadership skills;
Ensure the quality of deliverables and clients are satisfied with the work;
Team with PwC colleagues in other lines of services in support of client needs for Information Security services;
Work either as senior subject matter experts in their field and/or manage teams in delivering client excellence;
Drive the vision and thought leadership either within or across more than one of our 'client issue' towers;
Contribute to the Intellectual Property of the firm by driving the development of toolkits, methodologies and accelerators.
About the role
PwCs Risk Assurance practice in the South East is looking for a strong Manager to help us deliver high quality Information Security services to a wide range of clients in the South East region. This role provides an outstanding opportunity for a CISA / CISM / CISSP qualified to join a growing team and gain exposure to a dynamic mix of client assignments.
Our Information Security team has plans for significant growth as our clients demand greater assistance with increasingly complex IT risks. Our clients include leading global and UK based organisations and they rely upon us to help them design and advise on information security processes and controls to effectively safeguard their organisations. Our Government and Public Sector security practice is also experiencing significant and exciting growth working with the heart of government and are looking for individuals keen to make a difference in keeping the UK secure.

The following skills are required for this role:
Essential skills:
Strong experience in Information Security;
Information Security certification such as CISSP, CISA or CISM that establishes credibility and capability in the Information Security market;
The ability to manage a number of projects, meet deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations;
Clear, articulate and confident written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to develop and manage senior-level relationships;
Desire to work in a constantly changing environment as part of a team of IT Security Advisors;
The ability to be seen as a role model for junior members of the team.
You should be flexible and be prepared to travel to some extent both in the UK and overseas, and to work to tight deadlines, when necessary.
Ability to gain a UK Government Security Clearance
