Customer Service Advisor

Job Summary:



The Customer Service Advisor acts as an advocate for customers within the Global Support Services team and across all other departments.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Customer Focus – Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction within assigned Sector(s) by driving quality through engagement, follow-up, escalation and resolution
  • Execute Licensing Needs - Educates and assists with the technologies re-issuance licensing
  • Cross Team Coordination - Coordinates technical and non-technical resources for the customer’s benefit
  • Develop technical issue action plans with Global Support Services Engineering for delivery to customers.
  • Act as the customer’s primary point of contact for escalation in acute scenarios.
  • Maintain management awareness of high-impact customer issue status and communicate customer needs as appropriate for additional management attention.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks while remaining detail oriented.
  • Communicate, written and oral, in a professional, courteous fashion.
  • Rapidly learn and demonstrate knowledge of new technologies.
  • Professionally document all issues in the Global Support Services case management system.
  • Ensure that all customer requests are channeled to the appropriate resource in a timely fashion.
  • Work with Global Support Services leadership to deliver special projects as required.
  • Understand how the product is utilized in specific industry sectors and business processes.



  • A minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably for a support organization
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Exposure to technology, particularly as it relates to identifying customers’ business processes is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Motivated to help others
  • B.S. / B.A college degree preferred or equivalent work experience
