Customer Service Advisor

To be part of a successful team of Customer Service Advisors delivering excellent customer care to all Dyson customers. To demonstrate excellent communication skills and support the Helpline Manager and Team Supervisors to drive changes and ensure that quality customer service is delivered and Contact Centre targets are achieved and exceeded.
This is what we need you to do…

Main Responsibilities

•Handle and resolve customer telephone calls/enquiries received by the contact centre to the mutual benefit of both the business and customer.
•Effectively use systems provided to diagnose faults, leading to the appropriate action being taken.
•Where necessary arrange repairs/order parts through Customer Service systems.
•Communicate company policy regarding guarantee and service aims to customers.
•Handle and resolve general correspondence (emails and letters) in a competent and professional manner, recording both the issue and resolution electronically.
•To be accountable for parts and service provided (be they under guarantee/warranty or as a gesture of good will).

General Responsibilities

•Demonstrate awareness of issues arising from customer enquiries and communicating them to a Team Supervisor.
•Offer additional services to customers, such as accessory sales, direct sales, product brochures, and to complete registrations of new product purchases.
•Work as part of any specialist team as designated by Helpline Manager/Team Supervisor.
•Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
•Provide an exceptional standard of professional customer care.
•Achieve the Contact Centre defined performance targets.
•Exhibit professionalism at all times and respect confidentiality where required by the business and others.

Additional Responsibilities

•Work in other areas of the business when the need arises.
•To fulfil other duties as required.

This is what we need you to have….

•Experience in a customer service or a customer facing position is preferred, but not essential.
•Good knowledge of IT systems / data entry.

•Excellent communication skills.
•Ability to work under pressure.
•Attention to detail.
•Calm, professional and personable manner.
•PC literate with good keyboard skills.
•Self-motivated and an exceptional team player.
•Energy, drive and enthusiasm.
