Customer Service Account Manager / Ügyfélkapcsolati munkatárs

Location: Budapest


The main responsibility of the role is to Managing existing clients leading to increase in customer satisfaction and business growth. Execute a local plan to protect existing customer revenue; develop existing customer potential 


Main responsibilities include:

  •  Create account plan for portfolio to maximize revenue, profit and customer satisfaction
  • Manage sales funnel of opportunities based on account portfolio and implement account plans
  • Executive tactics to convert growth opportunities
  • Maintain relationships at appropriate levels with customers - understand customer needs and priorities through regular dialog
  • Negotiate commercial terms with customers
  • Review regularly revenue and profit for customers versus target
  • Using Customer Management System, undertake account analysis to identify changes to trends in customer activity that trigger issues to be explored/resolved
  • Review performance of customers versus KPIs for account control
  • Review progress with audits for account portfolio 
  • Maintain continuity of business – participate in a smooth handover from sales, to establish relationships with new accounts and service levels
  • Cooperate with other departments to develop service offers which meet customer requirements


Qualification & Experience:

  • University degree in Business Studies, Engineering,  Logistics, Supply Chain or similar
  • Relevant proven experience in sales  and / or account management: B2B sector, international organization, preferably in outsourcing / services environment


Skills & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the local market players within manufacturing and retail sectors
  • Knowledge of current local supply chain solutions and providers would be taken as an asset
  • Fluency in Hungarian and English a must; other Eastern European language an asset
  • Ability to use MS Office effectively, minimum intermediate level of Excel and database management, SAP an advantage
  • Personal Competencies: Relationship Builder, Learning on the Fly, Customer Focus, Planning and Organizing, Drive for results
  • Self-discipline, accountability and professionalism
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally
