The Customer Contact Advisors role is a full-time role on a shift basis, your customers will be worldwide and you'll be the voice of British Airways.

Taking inbound calls as a Customer Contact Advisors you will answer queries and change bookings, helping and providing solutions to all kinds of people, to assist them to get to all kinds of places.

Our Manchester Contact Centre is a centre of customer excellence so you will provide excellent customer service to our diverse customers. Helping them to book flights, support them as they travel and generally being the first point of all our customers. No two days are the same due to the sheer variety of situations you could face with our world wide customers. We pride ourselves on giving our agents the autonomy and support to take ownership of the decisions they make to best serve our customers. We don't follow rigid scripts but empower our agents to use their knowledge and customer service skills to find the best solution for the customer.

We are seeking self-motivated individuals to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a passion to put the customer at the heart of everything that they do. There is a lot to learn about our products and systems, but that is what makes it so interesting.

To join us as a Customer Contact Advisors, you'll need proven experience of providing excellent customer service, either face to face or on the phone.

Great problem solving skills and a genuine interest in travel are essential too, as we'll expect you to acquire knowledge of all sorts of destinations and possibilities. We use a number of systems and our product range is vast, so you will need to feel comfortable learning our systems, which are vital to us helping our customers.

We do work shifts. The Contact Centre is currently open 365 days a year between 7:30am - 1:15am. Working pattern will consist of 7.5 paid hours a day, 5 days a week covering Monday - Sunday.
